Overview

walk via Coldharbour, Leith Hill, Holmbury St. Mary. Excellent views from Leith Hill Tower. There are three steep ascents, one soon after the start, one before lunch and finally one rather longer steep climb after lunch. Refreshments, hot and cold drinks, savoury snacks and cakes   available from Leith Hill Tower at the picnic stop.

from the A24, take the turning for Ockley Station just after the Rusper Capel roundabout. After apx. 3 miles on the A29 at Ockley turn left then 1st right into Forest Green Rd. signed Leith Hill. Coming up the A29, turn right onto Forest Green Rd. for 1.2 miles then turn right for Leith Hill Place. Go on past L.H.P. follow the road down to Abinger Bottom go straight past The Well don't turn left, then turn right onto Friday St. and the Leith Hill car park is on the right after 0.4 miles
