Gloucester, Alney Island and Tall Ships

We start the walk on Alney Island by going through the middle of a lock,  along the river to Over, across the Telford bridge and look at the canal basin and stretch of restored canal.  We then walk back across the middle of Alney island to the docks and then we can so soak up the Tall Ships experience including looking at the docks and Llanthony Secunda Priory. We could then walk through Old Gloucester exploring the Cathedral and the New Inn (a rare example of a galleried coaching Inn- where there is an option for light refreshments) BPL. Booking Essential
