Overview

We start by heading east through three woods, with shallow uphills, to the attractive village of Woodcote. Then either picnic lunch on the village green (with benches) or the Red Lion pub - or even the nearby fish & chip shop open 12-2pm. Toilets in the Red Lion or the nearby village hall if open. In the afternoon we return west downhill through (or by) three woods to the River Thames. Then along the Thames Path for about one mile back to Goring.
