Overview

Departing on the 10:15am Stagecoach X27 bus from Buchanan Bus Station Stance 4, the walk will begin when we arrive in Kincardine High Street. We will walk primarily on tarmac paths to Culross (about 4 miles) then stop for picnic lunch before complete the Preston Island Circuit (5 miles). If time allows we will have refreshments at the community owned Red Lion pub in Culross before returning by the hourly bus no 8a to Kincardine for the return bus to Glasgow. We should return to Glasgow by 18:00 at the latest.

*Please note during the recce a section off Preston Island was too water logged to pass. If this is still the case we will return by the same route instead of completing the circuit. *
