Overview

Leaving the racecourse we join Offa’s Dyke Path mainly woodland until we reach the Llanforda Estate and the walled garden – all that remains of Llanforda Hall.  LLanforda Hall was the seat of the Williams-Wynn family which had a stake in Oswestry Racecourse. We walk through Oswestry town centre and Gateacre Park to see the Old Oswestry Hillfort. On our return we walk up to Brogyntyn Hall, what was once the home of the Lords of Harlech. VTC £4
