Overview

Meet at Lofthouse carpark at 10.15, to start walking at 10.30. We will head out of Lofthouse along Thrope Lane/Nidderdale way following the river, we then head up a steep section onto Dale Edge where we can stop for a break to take in the views. We carry on ontop on a good flat section, where soon we get views of Scar house and Angram reservoirs. We soon decend down a steepish section then we will cross the Scar House dam and stop for lunch. We then rejoin the Nidderdale way climbing back up again and walking down towards the village of Middlesmoor, we can stop at the benches to take in views before decending back down to Lofthouse.
