Overview

This is a circular walk starting from and finishing at The Standing Stone Car Park ( Nr Macclesfield Forest ) SJ 9772 7145 What3words///explain.sing.centrally

The walk is just over 11 miles in length with some 2700ft of ascent.

It is a beautiful walk and features Whetstone Ridge, Danebower Hollow, Three Shires Head, Cut Thorn Hill, Wildboarclough, Shutlingsloe ( aka Cheshire Matterhorn 1660ft, Macclesfield Forest and Trentabank Resevoir.

It is strenuous and the use of poles is recommended.

There will be a coffee break and a lunch stop.
