Overview

Starting from Hackpen Hill Car Park we follow The Ridgeway to Barbury Castle Hill Fort.  We continue alongside the Gallops to Rockley where we pick up the Wessex Ridgeway across Fyfield Down with its scattering of Sarsen Stones.  Back on The Ridgway we head back to Hackpen Hill.  For those wanting a bit more, it is possible to visit the Hackpen White Horse from the car park. This is a walk with amazing views in all directions.  It is mostly on stone tracks and byways with 850 feet of elevation over the whole route.
