Overview

Meall nan Tarmachan is a 1044m high Munro and it is number 89 in Munro’s table list. It is located on west side of the Ben Lawes Munros group. The route will start from Ben Lawers car park which is at 400m height above sea level. Good paths lead to the summit. We will continue to Meall Garbh and will descend via its south ridge down to the Land Rover track. If the weather permit, we will enjoy Ben Lawers and Loch Tay panoramic views.
