Welcome to Capital Walkers, the friendly London Ramblers group for people aged 40+. We walk every weekend and usually at least once during the week.
A evening walk and pub social following the Monopoly Board from Old Kent Road to Liverpool Street. We meet at Elephant and Castle Underground station and walk up the New Kent Road until it becomes the Old Kent Road- the first stop on the Monopoly Board and the only square south of the river on the Monopoly Board. We then walk up to and over Tower Bridge and go to Fenchurch Street station- one of the four railway stations on the Monopoly Board. We then walk to Whitechapel and to our final destination- Liverpool Street.
For those that want to join us in the pub we will go to Hamilton Hall - a Wetherspoons pub at Liverpool Street Station.
