New Forest circular - Millersford Copse - Cunninger Bottom - Deadman Bottom - Hale Purlieu

Decending from Hale Purlieu NT car park we enter Millersford Copse to emerge at the valley bottom. The walk follows the stream along Cunninger and Deadman Bottom with sweeping views of the valley. Ascending onto Hale Purlieu the walk continues across the Purlieu and uphill back to the car park. There are 7 fords/streams to cross which present no difficulty unless in flood. Should that be the case the walk will be cancelled. The walk is predominantly on minor New Forest paths which can be uneven underfoot.
