We are the Hike Oxfordshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A nice straightforward walk from the middle of Oxford (Osney Island) where there's free on-street parking and we can walk along the river, around Port Meadow and stop for a drink at the Medley.
This is a short walk designed for new starters but everyone is welcome.
Non-Ramblers members are welcome and are able to attend 3 walks before joining the organization.
Please arrive ready to leave at 13:00.
Don't forget that the Botley road is closed further down at the railway bridge - access is fine coming down the Botley road, but you won't be able to drive through town to get to the start point.
There is on road parking in the Osney Mead industrial estate around the Southwell Building and Bodleian Libraries Administration Office.
