Overview

Starting from the Surrey Wildlife Trust car park this generally flat circular walk firstly heads out to the 12th C. Church of St Peter in Newdigate and then uses southerly footpaths through open countryside to pass the interesting 16th C. house of Temple Elfande. Following a coffee / drinks stop here the character of the route changes to use farm lanes and tracks to pass a number of farms including the interesting adaptations at Green Lane Farm. A northerly return loop then passes through the former brickworks / Wildlife Trust site and onto the car park. The route is dog friendly (noting the usual precautions), includes a number of kissing gates and one stile
