We are the Trafford Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
BOOKING ESSENTIAL
A leisurely/moderate walk with a flat start following the old conduit then a gradual ascent up to Blackstone Edge to pick up the Pennine Way. This takes us to Green Withens sailing club for a scenic lunch (bring packed lunch/drinks). The return is over White Hill where there is a steeper but shorter ascent which takes us over moorland paths back to the cars. Risk assessment: Some muddy and wet parts guaranteed but easily negotiated with care.
