Overview

A lovely 9.5 mile walk starting from the pretty town of Pateley Bridge. We leave the town by climbing up the main street where we will gain sweeping views of Nidderdale. We will follow paths all the way to Brimham Rocks where we will stop for lunch. There is a cafe and toilets.

The return leg sees us descend to pick up the river back to Pateley Bridge, passing through Smelthouses and Glasshouses.

This walk involves about 400m of ascent/descent - the uphill is nearer the start.
