We are the Surrey Young Walkers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting though the country park, we join the Staunton Way though the pretty village of Chalton heading south and merging with Sussex Boarder Path into the village of Rowland Castle. After leaving the east hampshire village having finished our packed lunch, we join the Monarch's Way, walking along the ridge of Stansted Forest before turning north up the Watergate Hanger. Stopping for a drink at the pub in West Marden, we continue heading north up and around Compton Down. We walk with the view over to Uppark House as we climb up to West Harting Down to the South Downs ridge with views over to South Harting to the east and Buriton to the west. We walk along the ridge back to the country park.
