We are the Woodspring Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Figure of eight walk, which starts south down Church road. Then we go up the Kilmerston incline, which was the last gravity operated incline. In operation until 1973. Down the Jack and Jill hill into Kilmerston, loop south through Babbington House gardens. This is spa hotel which has hosted notable celebrity weddings. Then back through fields into Kilmerston, where we will hopefully lunch in the churchyard. The last 2 miles of the walk are easy walking along the old railway track back into Radstock. Less than 5 stiles. A single picnic stop.
