A nice walk down the alternative Thames Path from Reading to Goring with a 7 mile option to Pangbourne.
Advance booking is not required, but if you plan on attending this walk, please indicate this on Meetup if you can (see Website link), so others can see that there will be plenty of people going.

Walk details
The walk starts at Reading Station north entrance and proceeds via Caversham to Mapledurham. It then continues onto Whitchurch-on-Thames and a stop at the Greyhound for a drink. There is an option here to head to Pangbourne station for a shorter walk. We’ll then continue on the actual Thames Path into Goring.

By public transport
Starts from Reading Station, which has train and bus connections from many directions.
By car
Various car parks available in Reading Town Centre, where charges will apply. As the walk is linear, you'll need to take a train back at the end of the walk.
Alternatively, park at the end of the walk in Goring (or Pangbourne if doing the shorter option) and take a train to Reading for the start.
