We are the Taff Ely Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From Rhoose village a bit of road walking around the perimeter of the airport before we enter some woodland at the Fonmon Estate. Some more road walking to East Aberthaw , We go into the nature reserve and down to the coastal path, and then along the coastal path to Porthkerry Caravan Park, Then some more road walking back to our start point. Nice sea views !
No toilet facilities
Walk is fairly flat with around 5 stiles to negotiate, and around 80 steps from the beach up to the coast path.
There will be some mud !
Meet for car sharing at Llantrisant Leisure Centre 9.00 a.m
Walk starts from Rhoose Railway Station Car Park at 9.45 approx
