Overview

A walk across the beautiful, historic moorland between Ros Castle and Eglingham in North Northumberland.  Starting at Hepburn Wood car park, we walk the short distance to Ros Castle, a  steepish but very short climb up from the road, but well worth it for the 365-degree view that we will have from the top.  We then head across Bewick Moor to Blawearie and Bewick Hill (with its cup and ring-marked rocks, hill forts and views) before returning through Hepburn Wood to the start.
