Finchley & Hornsey is a friendly group, open to everyone. We walk mainly in Herts and surrounding counties.
A circular ramble from Sevenoaks Station taking in two National Trust properties, Knole House set in a 1000 acre deer park and Ightham Mote, a medieval moated manor house. Linking up the two, we walk through knole park and along a section of the North downs on the Greensand Way ridge at One Tree Hill with really spectacular views over the Kent country side. There will be plenty of spring flowers and hopefully still some bluebells. Potential for a tea stop/toilets. Bring a picnic.
Meet by ticket office in station. Station parking available. There is a fast train from Charing Cross 9.46 arrives 10.20 but check for alterations. Please contact leader if travelling by train.
