Overview

This walk will be a gentle stroll from Maidens, into Culzean Country Park and towards the Home Farm where we will stop for a coffee/tea/scone etc. or a packed 'bite to eat'. The route has been planned with many points to stop and sit for a moment or two and will take us along the road through Dunnabies Caravan Park and into Culzean; walking past the Swan Pond towards to the Castle; stopping at the Home Farm and walking through the walled garden before returning again through the Caravan Park or along the sandy beach and back to the cars.

Any inclines on this walk are gentle and the paths are well defined and flat. There may be mud in sections so a stick may be of an advantage and care should be taken tree roots are present on the path.

The bluebells were beginning to show their lovely colour on the recce so we may get a beautiful display.
