We are the Ramblers group for eastern Carmarthenshire. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Fantastic views from Cefn Bryn of the south Gower coast, with historic Penrice Castle and the pretty woods of Nicholaston - well worth the journey for this excellent walk.
We have a good climb at the start, along part of the Gower Way. Then we head down to sea level, passing Penrice, and follow a woodland path above the burrows before climbing back up to Penmaen NT car park.
Please book with the walk leader at least 24 hours in advance - a text is fine but do give your name and whether you are meeting in Llandeilo.
Bring a National Trust membership card if you have one, in case of car park charges.
Dogs on a short lead, and do make sure they can get over stiles unaided.
