We are the Cirencester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting from The Arboretum car park we take a gentle upward incline through a wood until we reach a country road. We walk on this for just over a mile, first on the flat and then downhill. The remainder of the walk is through fields (we may be lucky to see Deer) back to the car park. This is a short walk so if you wish there is opportunity to visit the Arboretum for the restaurant/garden centre (free) and to take a gentle stroll around the Arboretum which is particularly beautiful at this time of year (Admission price Adults £9.00 Gift Aid £9.95 Concessions £8.10 Gift Aid £8.95 Wetonbirt/Batsford/RHS Members Free. The Group encourages car sharing from the Meeting Point. If you wish to go to the start point instead of joining the walk at the Meeting Point, please contact the Walk Leader who will tell you the Start Point and Time. Travel donation £4.
