Walkers must book in advance with the walk leader
Starting at Killin we climb to a viewpoint with extensive views of Loch Tay before descending to visit Moirlanich Longhouse and Finlarig Castle. Finally, we walk around the the west end of Loch Tay.
Follow the path behind the village hall to Fingal’s Stone. From there it is a steep steady climb to the summit of the hill and great views of Loch Tay. Cross a short stretch of rough ground to reach the path down into Glen Lochay and Moirlanich Longhouse. On the return pass Finlarig Castle and the head of Loch Tay.
Anyone not wanting to climb Sron a Chlachain can complete a self-guided C+ circuit to Lochay Power Station and meet the group at Moirlanich Longhouse.
