Stainton le Vale

After parking on a grass verge near Stainton Le Vale church we head towards Walesby. Turning right before we reach the village, we go to Otby and then Normanby le Wold where we plan to have lunch. After lunch we head east towards Thoresway, turning right before we reach the village, over field tracks to Stainton Le Vale.

Please note 1) The walk is on farm tracks, field edge footpaths and roads. Most of the roads are minor but we will be walking along two short sections of the Caister High Street which is often busy and is used by heavy goods vehicles. 2)The walk is approximately 10.2 miles long and includes the ascent of a number of Wolds hills.
