Risk Assessment

To save time on the day and the grouping of people together to hear the details of the risk assessment, here it is in writing. 4.7miles. Step through stiles and gates on this walk. three lesser to moderate inclines. Sheep in fields, Dogs on Leads please.

Risk assessment

We will cross over the quite busy B5035 four times today, take care especially on the third and fourth, as sight lines are not the best. Some paths are muddy, if wet, so take care especially going down-hill. Some minor road walking, take care to keep right and in single file, whilst traffic approaching. Morning break on Middleton Moor.

National Stone Centre lower car park (pay) card. Please note at my time of walking, the pay machine was out of order, with a notice to pay at the 'Rock Till' in Blue Lagoon Cafe. I would suggest driving under the bridge to pay before parking, thus avoiding a steep walk back to the car park. Park as normal in the car park.
