Portsmouth Ramblers Summer London Walk - Along the Green Chain.
On arrival at London Waterloo we will take a short train journey to Falconwood Station in South East London, to start our walk along the Green Chain. Starting in Eltham Park, this will take us through Oxleas Wood to Sevendroog Castle, and on to Eltham Common, Woolwich Common and Charlton Park as we descend to the River Thames at the Thames Barrier. From here we will take the Thames Path to the O2 Arena (formerly the Dome) at North Greenwich. We will finish our walk here before taking a leisurely boat journey back up the Thames alighting at Westminster or the London Eye, for our return train journey home from Waterloo
