From Teston we follow the Medway river-bank to Wateringbury, where we cross the bridge to the other side of the river and stop for coffee at the 'Ramblers Rest' Cafe. Suitably re-fuelled we will proceed to Tutsham Hall then on to All Saints Church, West Farleigh. From there we head to Kettle Corner and down St. Helens Lane and cross back over the river at Kettle Bridge. Interestingly, the current bridge is the fourth one here, which was built in 1996. All of the previous bridges were made of wood. One was destroyed in 1914, when a ten-ton traction engine fell through the bridge into the river below. Once over the bridge we follow the riverbank back to Teston.
