Overview

In common with many moorland walks this route takes us through the area’s industrial history while also observing the natural landscape.  The route is tor-laden - Kings, Leeden, Black, Leather, Sharpitor, Ingra and Hucken - though we don’t climb them all. We’ll finish by walking beside the Merrivale stone row, perhaps preceded by a luxuriant show of bluebells on a delightful homeward stretch along a sunken track.
