Overview

A walk from the 'old Power Station Hill' along the River Taff to cross the recently re-opened railway foot over bridge. Moderate ascent (492ft) through fields and farmyards with views overlooking Pontypridd. We then descend into woodland, passing U.S.W and returning via Treforest to Tonteg community route.

During recce i found some fields to be quite muddy, due to livestock. There are a number of stiles, one particularly in poor condition. Gaiters and poles recommended. Large amount of steps to climb after crossing railway.
