Overview

A delightful and historical walk taking in the old village of Trellech with its ancient well and Harold’s stones. We also visit the Archaeological dig which Trellech was once the largest mediaeval city in Wales. We also pass Cheddon Hall and the spectacular Cleddon water fall .

Park and start at Ninewells car park near the village of Cleddon. Meet at 10.15 for a 10.30 start. Directions. Take the Wye Valley Road to Tintern. Go through the village until you see the Wye Valley hotel in front of you on the left. Turn immediately left In front of the hotel onto the Trellech Road. Continue on this road for about 2 and a half miles. Turn left as a T-junction. In about one and a half miles car park is on your left.
