A 10 mile walk from Groby Pool, to Swithland Woods via Bradgate Park. The route passes through 3 separate areas of woodland, 2 of which are known for spectacular displays of native bluebells. We pass through Bradgate park twice, taking a different route on the outward and return legs to give some variety in the terrain.
There are toilets approximately 2 miles into the route, at the entrancce to Bradgate Park.
Meet at Groby Pool Carpark, Newtown Linford Lane, Groby. Please note that the postcode is the nearest, and is about 1/4 mile away from the carpark. Satnav users should set Groby Pool Car Park, or Newtown Linford Lane, Groby as their destination. The carpark is on the left a short distance outside Groby as you head towards Newtown Linford.
