This is a linear walk.
Starting from Roseburn Cliff EH12 6AL we pick up the WOL path and follow to Leith. This section incorporates Dean Village and Stockbridge. We plan to take a detour to the Botanic Gardens where we will have lunch and time out to explore the gardens.
The walk finishes in Leith where we plan to get the Tram back to St Andrews Square and then go to the Bus Station for our return to Glasgow.
Nb. The path is muddy in places.
Toilets - there are public toilets at Stockbridge. Also toilets at the Botanic Gardens and finally at Edinburgh Bus Satation.
Travel - meeting at Buchanan Street Bus Station, Glasgow at 9.00am to board the 9.15am bus to Edinburgh. If you have a Bus Pass please remember to bring otherwise bus fare is around £10.00.
The tram fare is £2.00 for all and ticket must be purchased BEFORE getting on the Tram.
