Overview

Flat walk through the trees to Wellington Monument and the extensive views over the town of Wellington and the River Tone. Drop down to a road and lane section (some high viz could be useful) before we enter Sampford and Black Down Commons for the views from Culmstock Beacon of Culmstock and the River Culm. The return route includes the road section in reverse before we climb back to the monument and car park.
