Western Foothills of The Clee Hills

This is a lesser known upland and remote area of the Shropshire Hills, in an attractive  landscape.  The walk takes us over open common and farm grassland and along old Drovers tracks.       The terrain is undulating with a few hill climbs offering superb all round views.                       We also visit the medieval village of Cold Weston and Nordy Bank Hill Fort.                                        Please bring food and drinks for a short elevenses break and lunch stop.
