This walk takes in a lot of the Cotswold Way and there are a few climbs starting from Wotton Under Edge with a climb up to Newark Park. If you are NT members they like to see the card as it all goes to their visitor numbers.Walking from there to return to W. u .E via Alderley and Hillesley . If we are back in time then people can stop at the Town Hall for tea & cake.

NOTE: if parking not available in Chippings Long stay in the car park then people could try parking on Merlin Haven which is the road opposite Symm Lane. The other option is to park in the layby on the Wotton Road Grid Reference 751927 What 3 Words cope.skies.fight or Postcode GL12 8JN From there they can walk up the Wotton Road and on the right a little further up there is an enclosed path which takes them up to the New Road and then right into Symm Lane where they can reach the Chippings Car Park.
