Social Visit to Callendar House and Gardens in Falkirk

This is a trip to Callendar House in Falkirk which is a 14th century French chateau styled house with extensive gardens. Inside, there are several very interesting museums, all free, so get to know your ancestors. There is a cafe with the option of pre booking an afternoon tea costing £20.95 and more expensive options with gin or Prosecco. They also provide the usual range of drinks and eats at a fair price.

If the weather is okay, there is also an opportunity to walk around the grounds and up to the Union Canal. For fans of Outlander, parts of the series were filmed in Callendar House.
