Ramblers Tyneside Group uses coaches to walk & explore from the Scottish Borders to the Yorkshire Dales & Moors, from the Lakes to the Northumberland & Durham coasts.
With its pastel coloured houses strung along the river Aln, wildlife aplenty, and tranquil beach, Alnmouth sits within one of Northumberland's Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There's always an opportunity to appreciate the coastline here. It is 4 miles South East of Alnwick which is a perfectly located starting point to some of our walks. On previous walks we have taken in the magnificent Alnwick Castle, walked along the beach to Dunstanburgh Castle, and St Cuthbert’s Cross in Alnmouth: rumoured to be the location where St Cuthbert agreed to become Bishop of Lindisfarne when petitioned by the king.

It will be there for boarding from 9.00am and will depart at 9.30am
The coach leaves our finishing point at 5:30 pm to return to Newcastle
Refreshments are always available at the end of the walks before the return to Newcastle
