Sedbergh is set among the rolling hills of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park, and Its location at the foot of the Howgill fells make this a walker’s paradise. The Howgills , in the words of Alfred Wainwright, ‘are sleek and smooth, looking, from a distance, like velvet curtains in sunlight, like silken drapes at sunset; they are steep sided but gently domed and beautiful in a way that few hilly areas are.’ They are truly a walker’s paradise.
