Overview

Starting from the triangular shaped Alfred’s Tower we will walk through the Stourhead Estate woodlands following the Macmillan Way to Redlynch and on to the lovely historic town of  Bruton.  We will visit the Dovecote (up a hill!) and then admire the beautiful old buildings before starting our return via Cogley Wood and South Brewham.  There are hills and some stiles but also views.  A pleasant, varied walk with 2 refreshment stops.
