Overview

10-mile circular route. Start at The Trooper Inn, along quiet country roads, woodland and open farmland walking at times on Hangers Way and The Shipwright Way. Finishing back at The Trooper Inn with the option to stay for a late lunch (food served until 1500 hours). A very undulating course with views across the countryside.

This route is suitable for experienced middle distance walkers who like the challenge of a hilly walk. We’ll take a short stop for light refreshment at about one hour into the walk, a 20 minute stop for lunch at about the half way point, and a short refreshment break in the afternoon. Please bring plenty of water and the snacks and hot drinks you require.
