Overview

A moderate to strenuous walk around National Trust Hindhead & Devil's Punch Bowl. From the start visiting Pitlands & Ridgeway Farms, Hyde Hill, Highcombe with a coffee stop at the main NT cafe. Then onto Tyndalls, Polecat Valley, Combe Head, Hurthill Copse, Creedhole and Gibbet Hill. Lots of ascents & descents. Poles recommended. Good trails but several very steep sections.

NT Punch Bowl Lane car park. Turn left off A3 signed Thursley, travelling south from Guildford before the Hindhead tunnel. Right turn towards Thursley, over A3, then left towards village. Where the road forks, turn left downhill (not into village) passing an engineering workshop. Immediately turn right at sign for Boundless. CP a further 1 mile on right. Do not turn left under the road bridge.
