A circular route round Bailey Lane End, along the edge of the woods to Dancing Green, then down into Hope Mansell village, returning via a sunken lane and through the woods of Lea Bailey Inclosure. Two stiles. One uphill stretch.
Please text to book. Parking for this walk is limited to a maximum of 10 cars and there's a limit of 20 walkers. Please share a car where possible and mention when texting whether you're travelling with others.
Please bring water and a mid-morning snack and wear suitable footwear. Well-behaved dogs welcome if on a short lead.
We meet at the forest entrance south of Bailey Lane End (on the road from the A40 to Drybrook), nearly opposite the turning to Mitcheldean, Lea and Lea Bailey.
