PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS A SATURDAY WALK
From the Ben Rinnes car park gate we make our way up to the summit, stopping for a drink at ‘Roy’s Hill’ (535m). It’s a steep climb to summit arriving around 11:15 for a drink stop & photos. We walk along the top ridge stopping off at Lady’s Chair then onto ‘Scurran of Well’ for early lunch which has good views. At this point some adventurist Ramblers may want to climb to the very top! From here we start to descend, which is steep in places (please bring sticks) and down through the bog. At ‘Baby’s Hill’ we bare left from one path to the other. We walk along the base of the Ben at around 300-400m until we reach ‘The James Burn Ford’ where we will stop for a quick drinks stop. Walk ends with a short 5-minute walk along the single track road back to the car park.
