We start on the Sarsen Way in Amesbury through Ham Wood, Great Durnford, Upper Woodford and Netton before switching to Monarch's Way at Salterton where we cross the Avon and head to Lower Woodford. We walk through Little Durnford Manor and up the Avenue to rejoin the Sarsen Way as we head for Old Sarum with excellent views of the old settlement. The final stretch into Salisbury is through Hudson's Field and along the east side of the Avon. Map: EX130.
