A walk of 9.5 miles from Belton in Rutland to Tugby. Meet at Haymarket Bus Station at 8.15 for the 8.30 bus (747) to Belton in Rutland. The walk will start from Belton at about 9.15am. This walk is through the rolling East Leicestershire countryside. We will visit Withcote Chapel, a “hidden away”, Grade 1 listed, sixteenth century Tudor Chapel and then walk on Launde Abbey where we will have lunch . (There are nice tea rooms here.) We will pass through Loddington on the route to Tugby where we get the747 bus back to Leicester. Buses leave Tugby at 15.39 and 16.40.
