Overview

A circular walk (12.5miles) from Melton Mowbray Rail Station via the ancient hill fort at Burrough Hill where we will have lunch. We pass through the villages of Great Dalby and Burton Lazars. I did this walk in 2023 and remember it as having some lovely views along the way. Meet at Leicester Railway Station (9.00am) for 09.14 the train to Melton. The walk will start about 9.30am from melton Station. The return train is at 16.32 from Melton Station.
