A circular walk from Davy Down Riverside Park, Back Lane (off Pilgrims Lane), North Stifford,
Car park is free but smallish. Space for about 14 cars including other punters. Car sharing would be useful.
Stopping off at the Royal Oak Pub, South Ockendon. So far, so good. Now for the small complications - first part is 7.7 miles and second is 3.6 miles. Royal Oak is open on Tuesdays but not for food. So - will need a longer banana stop with more food/water and a shorter lunch with drink from the Pub and food brought out by the walkers. Can use the benches outside - space for 18 people, more if people sit out on the green. There is also one Indiana Jones style bridge crossing. Bit of an adventure really.
