This is a 4 mile walk starting at the car park of the Blue Lion Inn in Cwm. We start with a slow incline across a field into the woods, continuing on a gentle uphill affording great views of the vale before reaching the top and along country roads to part of Offa's Dyke with stunning scenery. Then a sharp descent takes us back to the road into Cwm village with a worthwhile stop-off at their phone booth library - bring a book to exchange!
The lunch at the Blue Lion is an opportunity to support a local business - very few are open for lunch during the week - but also for walkers to get to know each other and socialise. You can find out a bit more about the Inn at www.bluelion.wales
